Have been using Nortex for last few years now. It started out with fairly decent speeds(maybe 5-6 Mbps, which was ok, but not great), however, over the last year has deteriorated down to almost useless at times. We live in the country and pay for a higher speed package. We have called over and over only to be put through the same testing procedure, then a technician comes out only to say nothing wrong with equipment. They cannot do anything about the slow speeds. The problem lies uphill from them. All during the day now, download speeds are in the Kbps. or if you are lucky 1.0 Mbps. At times it's so slow the internet won't even load (not weather related and no trees, we are on top of a hill with the best line of sight possible). This is only with one device using the net at a time, forget about two people on a laptop at the same time. Downloading anything takes hours, unless you want to stay up till 3:00 in the morning hoping usage on the service goes down and you get a whopping speed of 3-5 Mbps. College students here many times have to use phones as a hotspot just to do homework (which ends up costing us more money), because Nortex is too slow to download and upload their work. If we could go anywhere else we would. A free month every once in a while as a "we're sorry" is not enough to make up for crappy internet speeds that cost a bundle every month.

Very Expensive 30mb download 5 upload is $130 where Charter only charges $19

They recently came into the commercial market in Sanger and I have nothing but good things to say. They offered a product superior to anything else available and have responsive customer service.

Nortex is the worst company i have ever done business with. Where i lived we are very limit to utility company and basically have to use them if we want internet, but i would never recommend them to any one. I was charged for 5g of speed for 22months before i question why it was so slow, come to find out i can only receive 3g and was only refund for 6 months which is only $60 not even one month free.so Nortex user please google it and do a speed test.

Is it possible for a staff to be too nice? Great Enterprise grade connectivity solutions.
